General Sir Douglas Haig's maps

These huge maps are stored folded in boxes, each one is split into physical tiles mounted on thick card, these tiles are joined with a linen hinge to allow the whole map to be repeatedly folded and unfolded without damage.
On this site each map is presented as one huge map with the physical tiles joined by graphics manipulation.
The last map in the list, H44, is a list of trench raids that is very difficult to present as a single map so it has its own page for explanation.

To visit each map. right click on the map in TrenchMapper and choose Map ID Jump. The Trench Raid map h44 is not available by this means but full details are available on the link below.

NB. Owing to the huge size of these maps, the zoom levels have been set to a level where you may have to zoom in to see them.
